QuickQueue for Banks
Clear counters, shorter lines at the branch
Customers take a token for the service they need, counters call the next person for their services, and the TV tells everyone where to go.
A typical day
-
A customer takes a "Cash deposit" token at the self-service kiosk.
-
Senior citizens get priority and are called first within their service.
-
Counter 2 calls the next cash token; the TV shows the token and counter and announces it.
-
An account-opening customer is transferred to the right counter without losing their place.
Problems it solves
Customers stand in the wrong line
Tokens are issued per service, and each counter only calls the services it handles.
Senior citizens wait as long as everyone else
A priority level moves them ahead in their service queue.
Branch managers can't see the day's numbers
The dashboard shows tokens issued, waiting, served, no-shows and average waiting and service times for today.

Questions from banks
Can one counter serve several services?
Yes. Each counter chooses the services it serves and calls the next waiting token among them.
Can tokens be printed?
Yes. Reception and the kiosk can print a ticket with a QR code through the browser's print dialog, which works with thermal printers.
Can we run several branches?
Yes. Each branch has its own hours, services, counters, staff and screens.
