QuickQueue for Government & public services
Fair, visible queues for public services
Citizens get a numbered token, see exactly where they stand, and are called by number and window, with no app to install.
A typical day
-
A citizen takes a token at the kiosk, with the screen in Gujarati.
-
Differently-abled citizens and seniors are given priority.
-
The display announces each token and window, and can show a scrolling notice.
-
At closing time, tokens still waiting are closed automatically and the queue starts fresh tomorrow.
Problems it solves
People don't know if the line is moving
The display and their phone show who is being served and who is next.
Language barriers at the counter
Kiosk, tracker, booking and display screens are available in English, Hindi and Gujarati.
Yesterday's tokens linger in the system
Waiting tokens are closed automatically at the branch's closing time.

Questions from government & public services
Do citizens need a phone?
No. They can follow the display screen. A phone only adds live tracking.
Can we show notices on the display?
Yes. Add a scrolling message in Settings.
Is citizen data shared between offices?
No. Each organisation's data is kept separate from every other organisation's.
